Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 and by that you do not see, 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer -- how little you reflect! 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And had he fabricated just one matter upon Us – 44 We would have caught hold of him by his right hand 45 Then would have cut off his heart’s artery. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily, this [Qur'an] is a reminder to all the God-conscious! 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 yet, behold, this [rejection] will indeed become a source of bitter regret for all who deny the truth [of God's revelation] 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 (Muhammad), glorify the name of your Lord, the Great One. 52

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
