The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O you (Prophet Muhamad), the cloaked, 1 Arise and warn, 2 And proclaim the Purity of your Lord. 3 And thine raiment purify. 4 And uncleanness do shun, 5 Do not bestow favours in expectation of return, 6 And for the good-will of thy Lord be thou patient. 7 For when the trumpet is sounded, 8 that day will be a harsh day, 9 For the infidels, not easy. 10 Leave Me Alone (to deal) with whom I created Alone (without any means, i.e. Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Makhzumi)! 11 and whom I have granted abundant wealth 12 And sons to be by his side!- 13 And made several preparations for him. 14 then he is eager that I should do more. 15 By no means; he is stubbornly opposed to Our Signs. 16 I shall soon constrain him to a hard ascent. 17 For he had thought and calculated. 18 But may he be cursed how he plotted; 19 Yea, Woe to him; How he plotted!- 20 Then looked he, 21 frowned and scowled, 22 Then turned his back and waxed proud, 23 Then he said: "This is nothing but magic from that of old; 24 These are only words from a mere mortal". 25 Him shall I fling unto the burning. 26 And what could make thee conceive what hell-fire is? 27 It spares not, neither leaves alone 28 Blackening the skins. 29 and it has nineteen angelic keepers. 30 We have not appointed the guards of hell, except angels; and did not keep this number except to test the disbelievers in order that the People given the Book(s) may be convinced, and to increase the faith of the believers and so that the People given the Book(s) and the Muslims may not have any doubt and so that those in whose hearts is a disease and the disbelievers, may say, “What does Allah mean by this amazing example?” This is how Allah sends astray whomever He wills, and guides whomever He wills; and no one knows the armies of Allah except Him; and this is not but an advice to man. 31

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
