And when thy Lord called Moses, saying: Go unto the wrongdoing folk, 10 the people of Pharaoh: do they have no fear?" 11 He answered: "O my Sustainer! Behold, I fear that they will give me the lie, 12 And that my breast will tighten and my tongue will not be fluent, so send for Aaron. 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they will kill me. 14 He said, “Not like this (any more); both of you go with Our signs, We are with you, All Hearing.” 15 “Therefore approach Firaun then proclaim, ‘We both are Noble Messengers of the Lord Of The Creation.’ 16 Send the Israelites with us". 17 Fir'awn said: brought we not thee up amongst us as a child? And thou tarriedst amongst us for many years of thy life? 18 Yet you committed the deed you did, surely you are one of the ingrates." 19 He (Moses) replied: 'Indeed, I did that when I was among those who stray. 20 Then I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord vouchsafed me a command and appointed me (of the number) of those sent (by Him). 21 That is a blessing thou reproachest me with, having enslaved the Children of Israel.' 22 Pharaoh said: "And who is this Lord of the Universe?" 23 [Moses] said, "The Lord of the heavens and earth and that between them, if you should be convinced." 24 Fir'aun (Pharaoh) said to those around: "Do you not hear (what he says)?" 25 [Moses] said, "Your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers." 26 [Pharaoh] exclaimed: "Behold, [this] your 'apostle' who [claims that he] has been sent unto you is mad indeed! 27 [But Moses] went on: "[He of whom I speak is] the Sustainer of the east and the west and of all that is between the two - as you would know]" if you would but use your reason!" 28 Said he: If you will take a god besides me, I will most certainly make you one of the imprisoned. 29 'What, even if I brought you something clear' said he (Moses). 30 Said he, 'Bring it then, if thou art of the truthful.' 31 Then he cast down his staff, and lo! it was a serpent manifest. 32 And he drew out his hand; thereupon it was white for the observers. 33

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
