The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, 'If thou givest not over, Noah, thou shalt assuredly be one of the stoned.' 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Surely thy Lord, He is the All-mighty, the All-compassionate. 122
