Samood gave the lie to the apostles 141 When their fellowman Saleh said to them, “Do you not fear?” 142 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 143 So fear Allah, and obey me. 144 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 145 Will you be left secure in what is here; 146 amidst [these] gardens and springs 147 and fields, and [these] palm-trees with slender spathes? 148 Though ye hew out dwellings in the mountain, being skilful? 149 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me; 150 "And follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,- 151 "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)." 152 They replied: 'Surely, you are one of those bewitched. 153 Thou art but a human being like unto us. So bring thou a sign if thou art of the truth-tellers. 154 He said: yonder is a she-camel; to her a drink, and to you a drink, each on a day known. 155 And touch her not with ill lest there come on you the retribution of an awful day. 156 But they hamstrung her, and then were penitent. 157 so the punishment came down upon them. Surely in that there is a sign, but most of them would not believe. 158 And verily thy Lord! He is the Mighty, the Merciful. 159

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
