Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Qaf. By the glorious Koran! 1 Nay; they wondered that a warner should have come to them from among themselves. The unbelievers said: “This indeed is a strange thing. 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 Surely We know that which the earth consumeth of them, and with Us is a Book preserved. 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Have they not looked up to the heaven above them, in what wise We have constructed and bedecked it, and that therein is no rift? 6 We stretched the earth and placed upon it firm stabilisers and We made every kind of splendid thing to grow upon it 7 As instruction and reminder to every penitent creature. 8 And We send down blessed water (rain) from the sky, then We produce therewith gardens and grain (every kind of harvests) that are reaped. 9 And tall date-palms with their spathes pile on pile 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 And before them the people of Nuh belied, and so did the dwellers of Rass and the Thamud. 12 And Ad and Firon and Lut's brethren, 13 the dwellers of the Thicket and the nation of Tubba', all belied their Messengers, therefore My threat was realized. 14 Are We then wearied with the first creation? Aye! they are in dubiety regarding a new creation. 15
