See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So make no haste against them; We only count out to them a (limited) number (of the days of the life of this world and delay their term so that they may increase in evil and sins). 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from the Most Beneficent (Allah). 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Surely, you have brought a monstrous thing! 89 Well-nigh the heavens are rent thereat and the earth cleft in sunder and the mountains fall down in pieces. 90 That they attribute to the Most Merciful a son. 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 All those who are in the heavens and the earth will come to the Most Gracious as His bondmen. 93 He has indeed counted them, and He has numbered them exactly. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 VERILY, those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds will the Most Gracious endow with love: 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
