And heaven – We made it with Our Own Power and We have the Power to do so. 47 And the earth have We laid out, how gracious is the Spreader (thereof)! 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up another god, along with God. I come from Him to warn you plainly. 51 Likewise, there came not an apostle unto those before them but they said: a magician or a madman! 52 Have they arrived at a common understanding concerning this? No; but they are a people given to transgression. 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 And verily, they who are bent on doing evil shall have their share [of evil] like unto the share of their fellows [of old]: so let them not ask Me to hasten [their doom]! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
