Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
BUT NAY! I call to witness all that you can see, 38 And what you do not see 39 because the Quran is certainly the word of a reverent messenger. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It is a revelation sent down by the Sustainer of the Universe: 43 And if he had forged concerning us some discourses. 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 Then We would certainly have cut off his aorta. 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 And indeed it is a despair for the disbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
