And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And We helped them, so they were victorious. 116 We gave them the enlightening Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and left for them among the later folk 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 except for an old woman who was among those that stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 and at night.
