Have you considered he who turns his back, 33 Who gives but little, and is niggardly? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or hath he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 36 And of Ibrahim who faithfully fulfilled? 37 Certainly no one will bear the responsibility of the sins of another, 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 And that his striving shall soon be seen- 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 To your Lord will all things eventually return. 42 and that He it is Who causes people to laugh and to cry, 43 And that it is He Who gave death and gave life? 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 and that He will bring about the Second Creation; 47 And that it is He (Allah) Who gives much or a little (or gives wealth and contentment), 48 And that it is He Who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 and Thamood, and He did not spare them, 51 And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious; 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 Then which of thy Lord's bounties disputest thou? 55 This is a warner of the warners of old. 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 None but God can avert it. 58 At this discourse then marvel ye? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 and divert yourselves all the while? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
