What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does every man of them long to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 But nay! I call to witness the Lord of the Easts and the Wests, that We have the power 40 to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. 41 so leave them to indulge in vain idle talk and amuse themselves, until they face the Day which they have been promised, 42 the Day when they shall rush from their graves, as if they were hurrying to a raised flag, 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
