Surely for those who guard (against evil) is achievement, 31 Gardens enclosed and vineyards, 32 and young maidens of equal age, 33 and an overflowing cup. 34 They will not hear therein any unnecessary words or lies. 35 a recompense from your Lord, a gift, a reckoning, 36 the Lord of the heavens and earth, and all that is between them, the Merciful, of whom they are unable to speak. 37 On the day when the angels and the Spirit stand arrayed, they speak not, saving him whom the Beneficent alloweth and who speaketh right. 38 That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. 39 Lo! We warn you of a chastisement near at hand; the Day when a man will look on what his own hands have sent forth, and the unbelievers shall say: “Oh would that I were utter dust.” 40
