He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 or he might be mindful and good counsel might avail him. 4 As for him who was indifferent, 5 you attend to him, 6 What does it matter to you if he will not become pure (from disbelief, you are only a Messenger, your duty is to convey the Message of Allah). 7 And he who comes to thee eagerly 8 And he fears, 9 him didst thou disregard! 10 NAY, VERILY, these [messages] are but a reminder: 11 and whosoever wills, shall remember it. 12 (This Quran) is also recorded in honorable books, 13 exalted and purified, 14 by the hands of the noble, virtuous, 15 noble and purified. 16 May (the disbelieving) human being be condemned! What makes him disbelieve? 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 Then He causes him to die, then assigns to him a grave, 21 Then when He pleases, He will bring him back to life. 22 Yet man declines to do His bidding. 23 So let man just consider his food: 24 That We pour down the water, pouring (it) down in abundance, 25 and then We cleaved the earth asunder. 26 Then We cause to grow therein the grain, 27 and grape vines and vegetables, 28 and olive trees and date palms 29 And garden-closes of thick foliage 30 and fruit and pastures, 31 For use and convenience to you and your cattle. 32 When the trumpet sounds, 33 On that day man will run away from his brother. 34 And his mother and his father 35 And from his wife and his children. 36 for on that day everyone will be completely engrossed in his own concerns. 37 Many a face will be glittering on that day. 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 but others will be gloomy 40 Blackness overcoming them. 41 Those, they are the unbelievers, the immoral. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
