The Believers (Al-Mu' minoon)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ THE TRUE BELIEVERS will be successful, 1 Who are humble in their service, 2 And who do not incline towards indecent matters. 3 Who strive for betterment; 4 Who guard their sex 5 Save from their wives or the (slaves) that their right hands possess, for then they are not blameworthy, 6 whereas such as seek to go beyond that [limit] are truly transgressors; 7 those who are true to their trust, 8 And who guard their prayers. 9 These are the heirs 10 These are the heirs of Paradise wherein they will live forever. 11 NOW, INDEED, We create man out of the essence of clay, 12 then We set him, a drop, in a receptacle secure, 13 Then We made the seed a clot, then We made the clot a lump of flesh, then We made (in) the lump of flesh bones, then We clothed the bones with flesh, then We caused it to grow into another creation, so blessed be Allah, the best of the creators. 14 Then indeed, after that you are to die. 15 then on the Day of Resurrection you shall surely be raised up. 16 And We have created above you seven paths, and We are never unmindful of creation. 17 And We send down water from the sky according to (due) measure, and We cause it to soak in the soil; and We certainly are able to drain it off (with ease). 18 With it We grow for you gardens of date-palms and vines: in them have ye abundant fruits: and of them ye eat (and have enjoyment),- 19 And We also produced the tree which springs forth from Mount Sinai, containing oil and sauce for those that eat. 20 And indeed, for you in livestock is a lesson. We give you drink from that which is in their bellies, and for you in them are numerous benefits, and from them you eat. 21 and are carried on them and also on ships. 22
