Have you heard the story of Abraham's honored guests? 24 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' And he replied: 'Peace, you are people unknown to me' 25 Then he turned to his household, so brought out a roasted calf [as the property of Ibrahim (Abraham) was mainly cows]. 26 He then presented it before them and said, “Do you not eat?” 27 He began to feel afraid. They said, "Do not be afraid," and then gave him the glad news of the birth of a knowledgeable son. 28 Then his wife came forward, making moan, and smote her face, and cried: A barren old woman! 29 They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." 30 ۞ Said he, 'And what is your business, envoys?' 31 They said: "We have been sent to a people who are Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in Allah); 32 “To throw upon them stones of baked clay.” 33 Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors." 34 Then We evacuated there from all the believers 35 But We found not there any household of the Muslims except one [i.e. Lout (Lot) and his two daughters]. 36 We left a sign in this for those who fear the grievous punishment, 37 And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, 38 The Pharaoh and his forces turned away from him, saying, "He is either a magician or an insane person". 39 So We took him and his forces, and threw them into the sea; and his was the blame. 40 And in (the tribe of) A'ad (there is a portent) when we sent the fatal wind against them. 41 It spared naught that it reached, but made it (all) as dust. 42 And in (the tribe of) Thamud (there is a portent) when it was told them: Take your ease awhile. 43 But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on. 44 They were unable even to stand up or protect themselves. 45 And the people of Nuh before, surely they were a transgressing people. 46
