By those [angels] who extract with violence 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 by those that swim serenely 3 And by those that press forward as in a race (i.e. the angels or stars or the horses, etc.). 4 Then arrange to do (the Commands of their Lord), 5 The Day when the quaking will cause a violent convulsion, 6 Followed by oft-repeated (commotions): 7 hearts will throb on that Day 8 Their eyes humbled. 9 (The disbelievers) say, "Shall we be brought back to life again 10 What, when we are bones old and wasted?' 11 They said, "So this return is an obvious loss!" 12 But only, it will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e., the second blowing of the Trumpet)]. (See Verse 37:19). 13 and they will be upon the surface of the earth (alive). 14 Did the news of Moosa reach you? 15 When his Lord called him in the holy valley of Tuwa. 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 Then say thou: wouldst thou to be purified? 18 And that I guide you to your Lord, so you should fear Him? 19 Moses showed him the great miracle 20 But (Pharaoh) rejected it and disobeyed (guidance); 21 Then he turned away, deliberating, 22 then he mustered 23 And said, "I am your most exalted lord." 24 Thereupon Allah seized him for the chastisement of the World to Come as well as of the present. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26
