Commemorate Moses in the Book. He was a chosen one, both an apostle and a prophet. 51 And [remember how] We called upon him from the right-hand slope of Mount Sinai and drew him near [unto Us] in mystic communion, 52 and out of Our mercy We appointed his brother Aaron, a Prophet (that he may assist him). 53 Also mention in the Book (the story of) Isma'il: He was (strictly) true to what he promised, and he was a messenger (and) a prophet. 54 He enjoined on his household worship and zakat, and he was obedient to his Lord. 55 And mention Idris in the Book; surely he was a truthful man, a prophet, 56 And We raised him high in Heaven. 57 It is these upon whom Allah has bestowed favour among the Prophets, from the descendants of Adam; and from those whom We boarded along with Nooh; and from the descendants of Ibrahim and Israel; and from those whom We guided and chose; when the verses of the Most Gracious were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating and weeping. (* Command of Prostration # 5.) ۩ 58 ۞ But they are succeeded by a generation who neglect their devotional obligations and follow only earthly pleasures; but they will reach the wrong road and meet destruction, 59 except he who repents and believes and does good works; those shall be admitted to Paradise and shall not be wronged in any way. 60 (They will enter) 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), which the Most Beneficent (Allah) has promised to His slaves in the unseen: Verily! His Promise must come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein any ill speech - only [greetings of] peace - and they will have their provision therein, morning and afternoon. 62 Such is the Garden which We cause the devout among Our bondmen to inherit. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
