Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 It is He who has made the night and day follow each other for those whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 and who remember their Sustainer far into the night, prostrating themselves and standing; 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 it is an evil settling, and an evil residence' 66 who, when they expend, are neither prodigal nor parsimonious, but between that is a just stand; 67 Who do not invoke any god apart from God, who do not take a life which God has forbidden except for a cause that is just, and do not fornicate -- and any one who does so will be punished for the crime, 68 [but] shall have his suffering doubled on Resurrection Day: for on that [Day] he shall abide in ignominy. 69 Except one who repents and accepts faith and does good deeds – so Allah will turn their evil deeds into virtues; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. 70 and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to God in repentance. 71 And [they are] those who do not testify to falsehood, and when they pass near ill speech, they pass by with dignity. 72 And those who, when reminded of the verses of their Lord, do not fall upon them deaf and blind. 73 who say, "Lord, grant us joy in our wives and children and make us a model for the righteous." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
