The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
