And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Indeed Your Lord is exceedingly bountiful to mankind. Yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 Lo! thy Lord knoweth surely all that their bosoms hide, and all that they proclaim. 74 And there is nothing concealed in the heaven and the earth but it is in a clear book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And indeed, it is guidance and mercy for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Verily thou canst not make the dead hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call when they flee turning their backs. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
