Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 Lord of the heavens and earth, and of what between them is, the All-mighty, the All-forgiving.' 66 Say: It is a message of importance, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 He said: Then get out of it, for surely you are driven away: 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 [Allah] said, "So indeed, you are of those reprieved 80 until the day of the known time.' 81 He said: by Thy majesty, then, I shall surely seduce them, all. 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 that I shall certainly fill hell with you and your followers all together". 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
