۞ Say: O My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. 53 Turn to your Lord and submit to Him before His scourge overtakes you, for then you shall not be helped. 54 And follow the fairest of what has been sent down to you from your Lord, ere the chastisement comes upon you suddenly while you are unaware. 55 Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers! 56 Or, "If only God had guided me, I would surely have joined the God-fearing." 57 or lest he should say, when he becomes aware of the suffering [that awaits him,] "Would that I had a second chance [in life,] so that I could be among the doers of good!" 58 Yes! Verily, there came to you My Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) and you denied them, and were proud and were among the disbelievers. 59 And on the Day of Judgment thou Shalt see those who lied against Allah - their faces blackened. Is not in Hell the abode of the stiff-necked? 60 God would rescue those who fear Him (and guide them) to places of safety. Neither will evil touch them nor regret. 61 Allah is the Creator of everything, and He is over everything a Trustee. 62 For Him only are the keys of the heavens and the earth; and those who denied the signs of Allah – it is they who are the losers. 63
