۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 that this indeed is a noble Qur'an, 77 Kept in a secure Book. 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 80 How can you regard this discourse with disdain? 81 Do you make its denial your means of livelihood? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 – at that moment when We are closer to him than you, although you do not see (Us) 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 Bring it back, if you should be truthful? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 then for him there shall be comfort and plenty and a Garden of Bliss; 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 and the heat of a blazing fire! 94 This is indeed the ultimate truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Supreme. 96
