The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and the earth will throw up all her burdens, 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day she will relate her chronicles, 4 for that her Lord has inspired her. 5 On that Day mankind will proceed in bands, that they may be shewn their works. 6 Whoever has done an atom's weight of good, will see it 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
