We built the universe with Our might, giving it its vast expanse. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of everything We have created pairs that you may be mindful. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman." 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 The evildoers shall have for their portion, a portion like their companions (who were destroyed before them). Therefore, they should not ask Us to hasten! 59 So ruin is for disbelievers, from their day – which they are promised. 60
