Have you then seen him who turns his back? 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 And with Abraham who kept his word: 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 then he shall be recompensed for it with the fullest recompense, 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 and that He Himself created the two sexes: male and female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 That the second creation is incumbent on Him; 47 And that it is He Who has given wealth and contentment? 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 and that it is He who destroyed the ancient [tribes of] Ad 50 Thamud, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 He plunged the villages 53 and then covered them from sight forever. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 The (Judgment) ever approaching draws nigh: 57 There shall be none besides Allah to remove it. 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 while you are thoughtless? 61 Bow instead in adoration before God and worship Him. ۩ 62
