Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So take no hasty action against them; their days are numbered. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And drive the guilty towards hell, thirsty. 86 no one will be able to intercede for the others except those whom the Beneficent God has given authority. 87 And they say: "The Most Beneficent (Allah) has begotten a son (or offspring or children) [as the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ['Iesa (Christ)], and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters (angels, etc.)]." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 Assuredly He hath comprehended them and counted them a full counting. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Verily those who believe and do righteous works - anon the Compassionate shall appoint for them affection. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
