Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 "Judge Thou, then, between me and them openly, and deliver me and those of the Believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
