And the man who believed said: "O my people! Follow me, I will guide you to the way of right conduct [i.e. guide you to Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism with which Musa (Moses) has been sent]. 38 My people, this worldly life is only the means (to an end), but the life hereafter will be the everlasting abode. 39 Whoever does evil will be requited with evil; but whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, will enter the Garden; where they will be provided for without measure. 40 ۞ My nation, how is it that I call you to salvation and you call me to the Fire? 41 You call me to disbelieve in God, and to associate with Him that whereof I have no knowledge, while I call you to the All-mighty, the All-forgiving. 42 No doubt that what you call me to has no title to be called to in this world, nor in the hereafter, and that our turning back is to Allah, and that the extravagant are the inmates of the fire; 43 You will soon recall what I have told you. I entrust God with my affairs. God is Well Aware of His servants." 44 So Allah protected him from the evils they plotted, and the people of Pharaoh were enveloped by the worst of punishment - 45 (Before) the Fire they shall be exposed morning and evening, and on the Day when the Hour comes, (it will be said): 'Admit the family of Pharaoh into the most terrible punishment' 46 And, when they will dispute in the Fire, the weak will say to those who were arrogant; "Verily! We followed you, can you then take from us some portion of the Fire?" 47 Those who had waxed proud will reply: “All of us are in it. Allah has already passed His judgement among His servants.” 48 Those in the Fire will say to its keepers, "Implore your Lord to relieve our torment for one day," 49 [But the keepers of hell] will ask, "Is it not [true] that your apostles came unto you with all evidence of the truth?" Those [in the fire] will reply, "Yea, indeed." [And the keepers of hell] will say: "Pray, then!" - for the prayer of those who deny the truth cannot lead to aught but delusion. 50
