Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ha Mim 1 This Book is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Wise. 2 In the heavens and the earth there is evidence (of the Truth) for the believers. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 And in the alternation of Night and Day, and the fact that Allah sends down Sustenance from the sky, and revives therewith the earth after its death, and in the change of the winds,- are Signs for those that are wise. 5 These are revelations of God which we recite to you correctly: In what other lore but God and His manifestations would they then believe? 6 Ruin is for every great slanderer, excessive sinner. 7 Who hears the verses of Allah recited to him, then persists arrogantly as if he had not heard them. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 8 And when he learns something of Our Verses (this Quran), he makes them a jest. For such there will be a humiliating torment. 9 In front of them is Hell; and of no profit to them is anything they may have earned, nor any protectors they may have taken to themselves besides God: for them there shall be a terrible punishment. 10 This Book is guidance, and those who disbelieve in the revelations of their Lord, theirs shall be torment of calamity, afflictive. 11
