AND LO! [In the course of his wanderings,] Moses said to his servant: "I shall not give up until I reach the junction of the two seas, even if I [have to] spend untold years [in my quest]!" 60 But when they reached the junction between them, they forgot their fish, and it took its course into the sea, slipping away. 61 When they had passed over, he said to his page, 'Bring us our breakfast; indeed, we have encountered weariness from this our journey.' 62 He replied: "Sawest thou (what happened) when we betook ourselves to the rock? I did indeed forget (about) the Fish: none but Satan made me forget to tell (you) about it: it took its course through the sea in a marvellous way!" 63 Musa said: that is that which we have been seeking. So they turned back upon their footsteps, retracing. 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said to him: "May I attend upon you that you may instruct me in the knowledge you have been taught of the right way?" 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 How could you be patient in matters beyond your knowledge?" 68 "You will find me patient if God wills," said Moses; "and I will not disobey you in any thing." 69 He said: Well, if thou go with me, ask me not concerning aught till I myself make mention of it unto thee. 70
