Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an full of wisdom. 2 Most surely you are one of the apostles 3 On a straight path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned and so they are unaware. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have put fetters around their necks which reach up to their chins so that they are standing with their heads upright, 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
