AND IT IS We who have built the universe with [Our creative] power; and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Therefore hasten to God; truly, I am sent by Him to give you clear warning. 50 And do not set up with Allah another god: surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 Have they handed this down from one to another? No, rather, they are an insolent nation. 53 So turn your attention away from them; you shall incur no blame. 54 but keep on exhorting them, for exhortation benefits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 [But withal,] no sustenance do I ever demand of them, nor do I demand that they feed Me: 57 God is certainly the great provider, Lord of strength and power. 58 For the Wrong-doers, their portion is like unto the portion of their fellows (of earlier generations): then let them not ask Me to hasten (that portion)! 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
