The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 Who measureth, then guideth; 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite and then you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Those who have fear of God will benefit 10 But it will be avoided by the wretched, 11 Who shall enter the great fire; 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
