The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man enquires: "What has come over it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 Because your Lord has inspired it. 5 On that Day people will come forward in separate groups to be shown their deeds: 6 So, whoever does an atom's weight of good shall see it; 7 And whoever does an evil deed equal to the weight of the minutest particle, will see it. 8
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
