The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 rushing to assault at morn, 3 thereby raising clouds of dust, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 On that day their Lord surely knows all about them! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
