And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 and then We shall know well all those most worthy to be cast in Hell. 70 And there is not one of you but shall come to it; this is an unavoidable decree of your Lord. 71 Then We shall deliver those that feared Allah and leave the wrong-doers there on their knees. 72 When Our signs are recited to them as clear signs, the unbelievers say to the believers, 'Which of the two parties is better in station, fairer in assembly?' 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 We shall inherit that of which he speaks and he will come before Us alone. 80 And they have chosen Gods besides Allah, so that they may provide them strength! 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
