۞ Also We revealed unto Moses, 'Go with My servants by night; surely you will be followed.' 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 (Proclaiming): "Surely they are a small band (of fugitives). 54 “And indeed they have angered all of us.” 55 And verily we are host well-provided. 56 So We made them leave their gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 And so [the Egyptians] caught up with them at sunrise; 60 When the two forces drew within seeing distance of each other, the people of Moses said: "We shall certainly be overtaken." 61 'No, indeed' he replied, 'my Lord is with me and He will guide me' 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We saved Moosa and all those with him. 65 then, We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
