3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 We rescued him and his people from the greatest affliction 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 78 Salamun (peace) be upon Nuh (Noah) (from Us) among the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)!" 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Verily he was of Our bondmen believing. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 and [thus] spoke to his father and his people: "What is it that you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you imagine the Lord of the worlds to be?" 87 Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them), 88 Then he said: Surely I am sick (of your worshipping these). 89 So they turned away from him, departing. 90 Then did he turn to their gods and said, "will ye not eat (of the offerings before you)?... 91 What is the matter with you, that you do not speak' 92 Then he started striking them down with his right hand. 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Construct for him a furnace and throw him into the burning fire." 97 They desired to outwit him; so We made them the lower ones. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 We gave him the glad news of the birth of a forbearing son. 101 And when he attained to working with him, he said: O my son! surely I have seen in a dream that I should sacrifice you; consider then what you see. He said: O my father! do what you are commanded; if Allah please, you will find me of the patient ones. 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 Of a surety thou hast fulfilled the vision. Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 105 Lo! that verily was a clear test. 106 And We ransomed him with a Feat sacrifice. 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
