Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 all the angel then prostrated themselves 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 (God) said: "Then go hence, ostracised. 77 Upon you will be My damnation till the Day of Doom." 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 [Whereupon Iblis] said: "Then [I swear] by Thy very might: I shall most certainly beguile them all into grievous error 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (God) said: "This is right by Me, and what I say is right. 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 This is nothing but an Admonition for all people the world over. 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
