By no means! By the moon, 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 And the daybreak when it shines; 34 Verily, it (Hell, or their denial of the Prophet Muhammad SAW, or the Day of Resurrection) is but one of the greatest calamities. 35 A warning to mankind, 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every soul is a pledge for its own deeds; 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens; they shall be asking, 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: We were not of those who prayed 43 And we have not been feeding the poor. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who entered into vain discourses. 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Till death overtook us. 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
