The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 and [then bethink thyself of] the promised Day, 2 And by the witnessing day (i.e. Friday), and by the witnessed day [i.e. the day of 'Arafat (Hajj) the ninth of Dhul-Hijjah]; 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 Of the fire (kept burning) with fuel, 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 They had no other reason for hating them except that they believed in God the mighty, worthy of praise, 8 To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness. 9 Verily those who affected the believing men and the believing women, and then repented not, theirs shall be the torment of Hell, and theirs shall be the torment of burning. 10 As for those who believed and acted righteously, theirs shall be Gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 and He is the Ever Forgiving, the Most Loving 14 The Lord of the Glorious Throne, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Hath there come unto thee the story of the hosts 17 of Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 In fact, the disbelievers had always rejected (Our revelations). 19 However, God encompassed their activities. 20 Nay, but this [divine writ which they reject] is a discourse sublime, 21 that exists in a well-guarded tablet. 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
