Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not expanded your chest for you (Prophet Muhammad), 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 that had well-nigh broken your back? 3 Did We not exalt thy fame? 4 Indeed, hardship is followed by ease, 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So, when you have finished (your prayer), labor (in supplication), 7 And incline towards your Lord. 8
