The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them: "Will you not take heed? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 "No reward do I ask of you for it: my reward is only from the Lord of the Worlds: 109 so fear you God, and obey you me.' 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Noah said, "My Lord, my people have rejected me, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
