The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the rangers ranging 1 and restraining [from evil] by a call to restraint, 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 With security from every froward devil. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 Nay, you (O Muhammad SAW) wondered (at their insolence) while they mock (at you and at the Quran). 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 When they see a sign, they laugh at it, 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 When we have become dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then verily be raised? 16 “And also our forefathers?” 17 Say: "Yea, indeed - and most abject will you then be!" 18 So that is just a single jolt, thereupon they will begin staring. 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
