۞ Nay, I swear by the setting of the stars -- 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 That (this) is indeed a noble Qur'an 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 [It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Is it such a Message that ye would hold in light esteem? 81 and your portion in it is simply that you denounce it as false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 If you are true to your claim that there is no Day of Judgment, 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 [ALL OF YOU are destined to die.] Now if one happens to be of those who are drawn close unto God, 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 If it is of the people of the right hand, 90 (For him is the salutation), "Peace be unto thee", from the Companions of the Right Hand. 91 But if he (the dying person) be of the denying (of the Resurrection), the erring (away from the Right Path of Islamic Monotheism), 92 Then for him is entertainment with boiling water. 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
