Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 O my Lord, do not put me among the harmdoing people' 94 And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them. 95 Repel evil with that which is best: We are well acquainted with the things they say. 96 And say: 'O my Lord, I seek refuge in You from evil suggestions of the satans. 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again 99 that I should do righteousness in that I forsook' No! It is only a word which he will speak. Behind them there shall stand a barrier till the Day that they shall be resurrected. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose balance (of good deeds) is heavy,- they will attain salvation: 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Were not My Signs rehearsed to you, and ye did but treat them as falsehood?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 O our Sustainer! Cause us to come out of this [suffering] - and then, if ever We revert [to sinning,] may we truly be [deemed] evildoers!" 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 But you made a laughing stock of them to the point where it made you forget My remembrance; and you went on laughing at them. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: How long tarried ye in the earth, counting by years? 112 They will say, "We stayed a day or part of a day. Ask those who have kept count." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So Most Supreme is Allah, the True King; there is no God except Him; Lord of the Throne of Honour. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
