Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Such is the one who repulses the orphans away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe unto those performers of Salat (prayers) (hypocrites), 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Who dissimulate 6 And do not let others ask for small utilities. 7
