Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 And by the night when it withdraws, 33 And by the dawn when it brightens, 34 Surely, it is one of the gravest things, 35 a warning to mortal man 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Each soul is held in pledge for what it earns, 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will say: we have not been of those who prayed. 43 “Nor used to feed the needy.” 44 And plunged into useless things with those who were obstinate, 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing away from a lion. 51 Nay, everyone of them desires that he should be given pages spread out (coming from Allah with a writing that Islam is the right religion, and Muhammad SAW has come with the truth from Allah the Lord of the heavens and earth, etc.). 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay; this is an Exhortation. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 And they will not remember, except that God wills; He is worthy to be feared, -- worthy to forgive. 56
